I have the above mentioned washer / dryer and am finding that all my washing is coming out of the wash cycle covered in fluff.  I'm sure it's down to the filter needing a clean, but I can't find it!  The only things on the front of the machine are the buttons at the top and the door and there is nothing on either side.  Granted, I haven't checked the back, but surely they wouldn't put it there?  The manual mentions nothing about a filter.

Can anyone help as I'm fed up with sellotaping my clothes to get the fluff off!

Have you left any tissues in with the washing? Try running the machine empty for a couple of cycles to see if this cures the problem first.

No tissue, but I'll try the empty cycles.  Should I use detergent in an empty wash?
I don't see why, it's not worth wasting it. Tried to look on the web for a service manual without any luck, so can't help you to locate the filter, sorry.

Thanks for your help.  I did a 95 degree wash last night with nothing in it and no detergent.  Think I'll do one more and see if that makes a difference.

I have the same washer/dryer and there's no filter on it. I asked the service man and was told the outlet pipe was wide enough not to need one. I find that every time I use the drier for towels, I need to run the machine empty ( no washing powder) on the 30o cycle just to rinse out the fluff that sticks to the inside of the rubber drum surround. Hope this helps.

I'm glad there's no filter - thought I was going mad!

I use mine to dry towels too, so that must be the problem.

Thanks for your help, hopefully that'll sort it out.
