I can't find what I want!

I'm after large rectangular wall tiles, maybe 30 x 60 cm, cream colour, polished finish, very plain (no pattern or texture).

and I'd rather not pay a fortune.. about £25 per sq m is enough, methinks.

thank you :o)

Homebase's website's got some called Buttermilk, any good?
Question Author
I looked in a Homebase today, but couldn't see any. will see if I can find them on their site, thanks boxy x
Question Author
I can only see diddy tiles, 10 x 10, but thanks :o)
The ones you want are quite large - bought plain whites in B&Q a while back, you could look on their website too. Also Wickes.
Question Author
I went into a B&Q yesterday, and don't want white (no offence, I'm sure yours are lovely, lol!).

I'll have a look at the Wickes site :o)

googled: but they're more for floors. Your sizes sara are large for walls & gravity could pull them down ?

I wouldn't have just white sara, it would look like a public loo - they are interspersed with tasteful patterned! ;-)
Question Author
thanks Butch and Tambo, but I don't want a marble look.. just a flat (but polished) colour.

Porcelenosa are really expensive!

Tambo, I'm getting a professional in, so they'd best stay up ;o)
Question Author
boxy, I never thought you'd so for the public loo look, lol!
god their big sara..........I thought mine were big and they're only 20x33....
Question Author
hey Patsy ;o)

it's a small bathroom and I want shiny plain walls instead of lots of grout lines. they don't have to be THAT big, but big none-the-less! I've loaned a tile that size from Topps Tiles, but it's too yellow looking.

I'm off to bed now, catch you soon x
sara, try the yellow pages for local independant tile suppliers.
youll be amazed what stock some of them hold.
Hi Curly2 ................
...rant ........... these tile sites ........... it winds me up ....... all you want is a bleedin' cream tile, and all you get is ......... "oh, you need a Napoli Ponceyosa edged with Elgin" .............
rant over ............. I used to use the Walls and Floors site that Butch mentioned, but that's impenetrable now .............. I don't know what these are like but the price would make it worth sending for a sample (no pic shown on site)

hi red, and thanks.. I may have to do that x

The Builder, thank you for searching! I tried calling for a sample but it's too late for today. I'll give them a call tomorrow. not sure about the delivery costs as they're oop North, but it's worth a shot :o) x
