If DNA evidence showed Crippen verdict and execution to be unsafe, should there be a posthumous review and perhaps pardon?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I watched a program on the one of the Sky Documentary channels just this last week, can't remember which channel, about the Crippen case and they made a very convincing case that all the evidence against Crippen was seriously flawed, not only that but they also cast serious doubts about if his wife actually died. One of the experts commented that if the case was being dealt with today it would be doubtful if it would even go to court,let alone result in a guilty verdict.Because of the new evidence that came to light as a result of this program his American decendants are now campaigning for a full pardon. If you've got Sky check it out as it will probably be repeated sometime soon
It seems the popular thing to do to scream that lots of people hung for murder were innocent. James Hanratty was a good example - his family and a bunch of leftie Guardian reading supporters protested his innocence long and loudly.
