Trying to find the correct name and song title of a band that played on the show in the 80's (hosted by Ben Elton).

Think they were called Bourgoise Tag (i guess it's spelled wrong !!! )and the song started with the line 'seven years ago i........' Can get the tune in my head and the name of the band but without the correct spelling and title can't get any info on them ..... please help !!
