Help! I bought a replacement grill element for my Smeg cooker which the manufacturers claim is the correct one. However, the old element had 'wings' on either side which rested on a groove on the inside of the oven. The new element has only a hook which seems to attach to the roof of the oven - but there's nothing to attach it to. The manufacturers are less than useful.
I know it's a long shot but any ideas?
