Use a liquid jewellery bath, they can be bought in most jewellers shops. They usually come with a little soft bristle brush to get into the awkward areas.
silver dip and a toothbrush!
Best to get some of the liquid silver cleaner from the jewellers and swish it around in that

many thanks to you both. will let you know how it turns out (if you're interested) and thank you for prompt replies. x
Best thing is probably to get a tub of liquid jewellery cleaner from any jewellers.
You immerse the jewellery in the liquid for a few seconds, brush it with the tiny brush provided then rinse it off.
I think there may be different types, so be sure to get the type for cleaning silver.

Don't know how alfie is...he belongs to mamyalynne, not me.
I expect I'll get news of him on Saturday, though at the Mad Over fifties club.
I'm sure she will be looking after him very well.
