It is my mothers wish to put her house into a lifetime trust with myself and her grandson as beneficiaries. The house at the moment is still in my fathers name who passed away in June 2007. Clearly the house needs to be transferred solely into her name before we can proceed with anything else ... does anyone know if I am correct in thinking Form AP1 and AS1 are the only forms I need to fill in prior to going on to do the Lifetime Trust? Also, does anyone know where I can get this document done legally at a reasonable cost? My mother isnt rich by any means and finds the 2,000 pounds quoted by a local member of STEP just too much to afford hence I am trying to find another way.
