shiny iron marks

Hi, I have just noticed that when I ironed my dress I have accidentally made a long thin shiny iron mark down the front of it (I must have pressed on the iron too heavily or the iron was too hot and unfortunately the outline of the zip at the back has now produced this quite noticable mark). It isn't burned - just really shiny!
Can anyone suggest a way to remove it.
Thanks.

Depending on the fabric it might be as simple as washing it. If it has to be drycleaned, draw it to the attention of the shop and ask them.

Next time, iron inside out and use a pressing cloth or clean tea towel.

Good luck
Should have added, only iron a single layer at a time
