Electricity provider - who's the best/worst?

Hi everyone, we're moving house and have to pick an electricity provider. EDF seem to come off best as far as cost is concerned. But they do get bad press for the cavalier way they change standing orders on a whim. I wondered if anyone had had a good or bad experience with an particular provider and whether anyone could wholeheartedly recommend one in particular. Thank you very much.
