If you go to a garden centre you should find small bags of orchid compost for sale which are ideal for your cymbidium. They will probably have special orchid fertiliser which are worth buying.

Bromsgrove, thanks for your help. Will look for some as my plant is looking very "pot bound" and I feel it needs re-potting in a larger pot hense the need for correct compost. Thanks again.

Hello I just spotted your reply! When you do repot don't forget that your plant will do better if it is slightly pot bound, so only increase your pot size by a fraction.
