hi there,
how do i get rid of the smell of cat wee on my carpets,my cat had 4 kittens and they are doing it most of the time on my carpet,mainly in one place but also in other places where i cant catch them,please help if you can

Try and soak up as much of the urine as possible with kitchen roll, and wash with biological washing powder, and dry again before putting on the Simple Solution.
Can you buy a small piece of lino to keep them on to save keep washing the carpet?

Whilst they are little I would recommend a very shallow baking tray for the cat litter. They will find it very hard to climb into anything with higher sides. The mother cat will soon teach them to use the cat litter.
How old are they now. If they are still very young they would be better housed in a smallish area, together with their cat litter and water, where they still have enough room to run around a little and mother cat can get in and out easily herself. A very large cardboard box, perhaps? You can obviously then get them out and supervise them when you want to and supervise them more.
You need to get this sorted out quickly. Tiny kittens will learn to use cat litter very, very quickly so get them into the habit now, otherwise you will not get rid of the problem.
As for the existing smell, I agree totally with Jules77 about Simple Solution.

hi there,thanks for all suggestions,they are 7 weeks old now so they are due shortly to go to their new homes,i did get them a very large box but i came home from work and the ******* had all got out! as for litter tray they can get in and out but they think its a toy and throw the litter everywhere[which is quite funny watching them].i will order that solutions and see how that goes,thanks all!
hi there, sorry to be so negative but after having 5 cats & a number of wee accidents i decided that the only way to erradicate the smell of urine was to dispose of the carpet & replace with tiles/laminate flooring. My cats tended to wee in the same place so before the carpet had time to dry it would be soaked with urine again - hence never being free of the smell. I'm pleased to say that this worked & fingers crossed never had this problem again - 4 years later!. I do hope the solutions works for you as this is a drastic alternative. Good luck!
