An old oak table not varnished, usually I use some Cillit Bang on oil stains and just scrub, but this mark won't shift. Did I hear somewhere about blotting paper and a hot iron? Is this for wood?

The iron and paper method is for grease like caqndle wax on carpets. I wouldn't dare try it on wood. What sort of grease is it?
