I have several Eucalyptus trees which have been grown from shrubs. they are about 2 metres high but have no main stem - just three or four stems. Should I prune out and leave one main stem to help it become a tree?

Not necessarily. I grew my euc gunnii from seed about 15 years ago and I didn't cut anything off. It's about 60 feet high now!
Do you want it to become a tree?

Yes I would like them to become trees - space is not a problem
Only prune branches if you prefer the young growth that is small round leaves. The mature leaves are more elongated. I adore my tree. It bloomed and had 'nuts' on it for the first time 3 years ago.
Good Luck with yours. x
