I have a top, which is one of my favourites, its grey, but has white sort of banding around the collar, bottom and cuffs, but recently they have gone pale grey, almost grubby. I've tried colour run remover, and it has removed some of it, but is there anything else i can use to make it white again, i thought about white bleach as a last resort, and just gently dab it on the white bits?

Provided that the top is not made from one of the list of non recommended fabrics. I would steep ( soak) it in a bucket of Napisan or the Vanish for whites and then stick it through the machines. ( napisan is a product for babies nappies so might be in the kiddie aisle.)

will they harm the colours?
if you type Napisan uk into ask.co uk

there is a link to the dooyoo website, the second user described the active action - and says she has used it on colours without incident. I have used it on an Irish rugby shirt and it was ok ( green body - white collar )
