hotpoint condenser dryer

ive got a hotpoint aquarius condenser dryer, and its only 18 months old. its stopped heating properly, its getting slightly warm thou. do i need a new micro switch, or a new heater element?

Hotpoint have a 5 year parts guarantee so why not get them to fix it - labour cost only.
That 5 years is on washing machines - don't know if it applies to driers as well but worth a check
could be a number of things you say its getting slightly warm is that after a wash or just when trying to use dryer on its own?

thanks dzug. will check.
matt1e, its when the washing is cold, water is coming out of the bottom of the dryer, presumably because it not hot enough to steam, like it used to, and go into the water collecting tray at the top. so not sure if the micro switch is stuck on cool, or if the heating element has gone.

just checked hotpoint website, and the parts are covered for 5 years, thanks alot dzug
