It is a rarity I get in with that first so thought I would make the most of the opportunity :) Friday is here once again, yay! So what is the big plan for the weekend? MIne is starting with me about to go back to bed for a nap as Ive been up half the night with my daughter who seems to have some sort of throat infection/cold. Well, there is lots of coughing and a high temperature anyway! So its a day off school for her and a day off work for me to look after her. Enjoy your day everyone, and dont work too hard ;)

i'm about to go and spend the weekend with some good friends, whose daughters are my god-daughters .. the tricky part will be to smuggle in the christmas presents i've got for them

morning, nothing exciting planned i'm afraid, going to work in a bit, but finish at 1.00 so not too bad, then probably have a clean up, will go for a few drinks tonight but no raving for me :( !!!

Good morning psychick.The only plans I have for the weekend are to have both my preggy daughters visit me,that should be fun,lots of talk about heartburn,morning sickness,cravings etc.lol. I actually enjoy being able to pass on tips about how to cope with those things,it makes me sound all knowing and wise.pmsl.

Hi devil, yes thats from my scan a few weeks ago :)

Why do I feel so guilty for having just called work to say I wont be in even though its because Ive been up half the night with my poorly daughter plus I want to stay home to look after her, and to be honest, Im not feeling that clever myself! I called the school goes to to let them know she wont be in and as I work there I also added I wont be in either......and now feel bad?!?

Oh daffy can I come over, I need some advice too. Woke up in the middle of the night feeling sick, throw up sick. Rolled up spare duvet and put it under pillows to raise myself up and it seemed to ease, I guess it is heartburn although it wasnt painful or burning, what do you all think? (am 27 weeks pregnant)

Morning all.. what a lovely day in my part of the country. Hope the sunn is shining on you all too. Been up since 05:30. cos started work at 7.. but today is only an 8 hour shift and I'm not working the weekend either so Happy Days!!

Morning peeps! I will spend tonight on the phone catchin up with friends and family that I should have called but haven't got round to, tomorrow my dad is visitng and is really excited to see my scan so that will be fun, plus I didn't have a bump last time i saw him (is everyone on this thread pregnant or connected to a pregnant bod in some way?!) I also have to do the housework and shopping, whlst hubby will be fixing brakes and cam belt on car. Sunday I am doing a roast and staying in all day chilling :-)

Andi it is sunny here (near Oxford) but flipping cold! I have been at work since 7:15, it doesn't seem to have warmed at all yet!

Its a nice clear day here too! Not sure about the temperature yet though.

Warpig, I often get a sicky feeling which seems to come with my heartburn. I find having a little snack and some gaviscon eases it.

andi, I wished I was as bright and as cheerful in the mornings as you seem to be! lol

Morning all, as always it's freezing up in in Scottyland....the winter woolies have been out for weeks.... I hope your daughter is feeling better soon Phychick, there is so many bugs going about just now, people are dropping like flies.

Thanks sandrajo. Theres a lot going about at the school but most seem to be getting a stomach bug. Id rather she had a cold than the stomach bug!

Not pregnant, had the cold but at work, more's the pity. Very low at the moment, work colleagues are playing up, Mr ES methinks has a girlfriend !! Suddenly wants to go to a leaving do tonight and he never wants to go out and keeps talking about someone called Donna!! Can't make my mind up as to whether to secretly pop some durex in his pocket (although I doubt he would remembe what to do with them) or get a taxi driver to drop off his zimmer frame to the pub. I think he is having a mid-to-late life crisis but either way I hopes she likes white horse linament and false teeth!!!

It certainly seems everyone is pregnant at the min. Congratulations to you all. My sis just had baby 5 days ago so its nice to play aunty again. I've heard nibblin on ginger biccies is good for the sickness. Personally, they'd make me sick. Nasty biccies. x

andi, I have tried everything going to combat sickness but the only thing that has worked is anti sickness tablets of the doc :(

I guess I had better get used to it then. Good excuse for a midnight snack though, and I love ginger nuts (the biccies).
