I reckon I might be able get my electricity cheaper than my current powergen deal but is it really worth the hassle just to save a few s a month?

Do i have to do anything when switching?

I only ask as it has been a painful process when i almost switched mobile network and when I moved broadband provider.

No hassle at all
That rather depends if you are involving British Gas in any way. If so, be afraid, be very afraid.
I changed my from British Gas with no problems at all, a couple of phone calls and that was it

I change mine about every 2 years more or less. No problems
If you are intending to change for the purpose of saving money then you'll forever be changing because of the competition between the suppliers. I think that over a period of time you'll do as well by staying with whomsoever you are with at present.....Ron.
