Whats eating my plants

I have a wild bergamot (Monarda didyma) and the leaves are going brown. I also have a osteospermum(Lavender Bliss)and some darn varmint is eating the leaves - I don't think it's slugs - what else can it be?

Any help with these two plants will be very much appreciated.

I'm thinking it could be FLEA BEETLE or CAPSID BUG try spraying with an insecticide such as DERIS DUST or FENITROTHION. Good Luck Tbird+
