How do you make concrete - i.e the ' ingredients ' and ratios

A good mix consists of -
3 stone
2 sand (river not building sand)
1 cement

Repairing the base of a concrete wall , which water comes into contact with

I found out today that you can buy ready mix concrete .
Is this just as good as mixing it yourself ?

Put a waterproofer such as Medusa in it when you are mixing it.

it comes with a kitemark or bs number so its got to be and if you only need a small amount its easier than mixing it yourself, possibly cheaper as well
