I am soon to be moving house. Most of my gear will be boxed up and stored in my cellar while I rent the rest of the house out. I will need to take other belongings with me, probably via a removal van since I don't drive.

Is there such a thing these days as a company who would help me move boxes into my cellar, move my own boxes into a van and drive me to my destination!?

You need 'a man and a van'. Look in yellow pages or the free local paper.
can thoroughly recommend 'man and van' people. as a family we've used these 4 times in the last two years and they've been great. i would just say to use a reputable firm though, there are quite a number of 'mans and vans' which only have a mobile phone number and i would be a bit wary of them.
the ones we've used charge by the hour, with a minumum charge (can't remember what it was), and we didn't pay the driver, we were invoiced a couple of days later.
the young, very fit men they employed were australians, as these tend to be the most honest and hardworking we were told.
