I have two yukka plants that I've recently been given but both are falling over. Any suggestions?

I got barred from answering this because of a phantom profanity I can only think that the profanity was tip or bottom so this is a test!!
Are they in the garden or house plants? If they are in the garden then it is normal for them to collapse at first. I have an aged Yucca that has been in the garden of every house I've ever lived in. The babies are sold off for charity regularly and I tell everyone not to worry, they will recover. Last year the original plant got so big I sawed (yes with a bowsaw) it down and planted the babies. Only the trunk was left with no roots and no foliage. I stuck it in the ground and it now has 13 babies. They are practically indestructable. I imagine houseplants are similar but don't have any experience
apricot, what part of the world/UK are you in? (curious to know whether i can grow them outdoors...)
Darth vader, I live in North Lakes. I know they shouldn't even grow here but they do and they have huge 15ft flower spikes as well. WestSouthWest facing garden but with the wind staight from Blencathra, my snowdrops have only just gone over!
blimey if they'll grow outdoors in Nth Lakes they'll grow in Nth Yorks - will have a try! (south facing garden with plenty wind protection). I trust you just took an indoor Yukka and nursed into outdoor survival by leaving out for a few days b4 planting out? what time of year did you plant out?

The plants are houseplants. They have plenty of sunlight but it's a north-facing window. The top is collapsing sidways onto the floor, taking the pot with it!
Is it just top heavy? Maybe it just needs repotting. You could try using a john innes compost which is heavier than the usual peat based compost, and try staking it till it establishes itself. Also, this will sound very obvious, but have you watered them? They will probably benefit from a bit of feeding.
Darth vader - they are not the same variety as houseplants. If you go to answerbook and register then send me your address I will post some to you. As I said they are virtually indestructable.
