I need to move a roomstat that has been fitted in direct sunlight, but cannot find out what cable to use. Can someone advice, please?

When I installed mine I used a 1.5mm 4 core cable. Yours could differ - isolate the power and remove the cover and note how many wires there are.

You can get wireless room stats now that would save you ripping out walls and lifting floorboards - see the link below -

My room thermostat uses normal 1.0mm lighting cable!
