Do I need public liability insurance?

I am starting a chair cover hire company and I was wondering whether I would need to get any insurance to cover me against fire. The covers will be predominantly used in hotels for weddings- which presumably already have public liability insurance. My main concern is that the covers are made from polyester and therefore flammable. Would I be liable if someone was harmed by a chair cover that caught fire?

In business NEVER rely on another business having insurance which would cover your business.
Isn't the polyester treated to be flameproof? Anyway you should get your business good quality ( not rip off price) insurance cover because if any thing went wrong you could be in for a huge bill and lose everything you have worked hard for.
