I had my lounge re-plastered in october last year. Whilst it has been drying small cracks have appeared around the skirting board. I have used decorators caulk to seal them and tidy it up but yesterday I noticed a crack behind my tv. It starts about a metre from the floor and goes all the way up and then to the right for about a metre. How can i sort it as i dont think just painting over it will help?? My room is painted cream so i want to blend it ion as best I can. Any help would be really appreciated
Hi kitty I would think it is only shrinkage cracks nothing to worry about the only thing I note about your post was the types of filler, if you are painting onto plaster then the best results to fill cracks, is with plaster based fillers not caulking this has a different texture that will show afterwards HTH Tez
