Im hoping to have a new bathroom suite fitted in the coming months. The suite i like is white.I would like a fully tiled bathroom ,but im unsure what colour scheme to go for . I prefer clean, smart but classic colours. Would like not to have to decorate bathroom for at least ten years?

We had a white suite put in and then fully tiled from floor to ceiling in a Midnight Blue about 3 ft high then white above, this was done 3 years ago and still looks fantastic, you can also consider decor panels, look good and you can have the floor and ceiling done in them and then you will never have to decorate.

sounds beautiful! are the midnight blue tiles easy to keep clean? remember a friend having a nightmare with burgandy tiles!
Hi ilovemarkb, No problem at all, all we do is wipe them over with a cloth or the towel after showering, no mould or discolouring of grouting, we are really happy with it, it is the best thing we ever had done, in fact I did my sons bathroom last year in exactly the same tiles because he liked it so much, there are some fantastic colours in tiles but we wanted something that wouldn't date to quickly, good luck with whatever colour you go for, Ray

still sounds beautiful!!! did you purchase the tiles from a well known diy store? What size tiles did you get?
Hello again, I live in North Wales and we got ours from a local supplier, "Global Tiles" but you should be able to go to any large outlet, but I like dealing with smaller companies as you get a more personal service, this site might help with picking a colour, again wish you good luck, Ray.

Sorry should have said if I remember correctly they were 10" X 8" with a border in between, the border tile was about 3" high and they were blue/white

thankyou very much raysparx1!!!
Wall panel cladding has been the in thing for a while now, not the cheapest of products but then again it might work out the same especially if your having borders etc plus the fact there`s no need to every grout again :)
Dont know if im too late, sorry only just subscribed, and you've already tiled bathroom? If not then i would suggest a natural light cream/stone/ivory colour. Get inspiration from Romans or greeks. This is a timeless look that is both beautiful and even if done on a budget it looks like a lot of money has been spent. You say you want it to last at least ten years ,this will and if you keep to light natural colours on the tiles and only use stronger colours on your accessories, you can change in so many years if you get bored with look just by changing colour of accessories. Also i would advise for a satin finish on tiles or natural finish , with the high gloss finish it can make bathroom feel cold, thats y i always recomend not to use white high gloss tiles as they can make room feel cod. hope it helps if need more advice just ask , good luck
