I spilled candle wax on my flat computer screen - on the screen itself and the surround. Any ideas on how to remove it will be greatly appreciated!

I suppose you could try the ice cube method just press it on for a little while (before it starts to melt!) and the candle wax should freeze and then come off.
monty - I would think for your screen, use a nice fine blade, such as a window paint scraper, then polish up. Your surround may be a little harder, keep your room cool ( to prevent the wax from going soft ) & maybe use a freezer scraper or something with more of a blunt edge such as the edge of a teaspoon, then wipe over with a slightly damp cloth soaked in a solution of diluted washing up liquid & buff up.
maybe cover it with a sheet of kitchen roll and warm it with a hairdryer. Hopefully the wax will melt and soak into the paper :)

If not, then you may have wax + kitchen roll stuck to the screen!!

Wont it just pick off with your fingernail?
