I have a cat palm tree . It has white stuff on the leaves and stem . What is i?

gas fire

windolene stain

I would suspect it is mealy bug. Take a look here to see if it is.

you can get a spray to get rid or you can wipe the stems clean with a cloth depending on how bad the infestation is.
