hi weepeep, once your little girl is used to taking a liquid food, ie milk from a spoon, very gradually make it slightly thicker using rusk or them packet baby foods, if you take it nice and slow she'll hardlt.y notice, before you know it she'll be eating moe or less the same as everyone else, although her food will need to be finely chopped for quite a while , then try with chicken and stuff like marmite toastie fingers
porridge
and dont forget vegatables too.
With great difficulty if she doesn't like lumps
Just keep persevering with very small bits. They spit a lot out till they get the hang of it. One thing I would say is, the other day I was talking to some of the mums in school and we all agreed that if we were doing it again (weaning babies) we'd give them as wide a variety of foods as we could think of, even those ones we personally don't like. Because we now think we have fussy kids because we weren't adventurous enough at that stage.
