How can I get the musty smell out of the inside of a leather bag??

Peg it outside for a few hours?
Spray some Fabreeze in it?
Gently wipe it down with weak washing powder solution and thoroughly dry it?

I have tried that, it still smells a bit, every time I open the bag !!

How about cheating and popping inside a car air freshner type thingymejig?

try the old remedy of sprinkling bicarbonate of soda in leaving it overnight the bicarb will soak up the stink.
