there are white spots on my yellow squash leaves in my vegetable garden. is this some kind of fungus and what is the best thing to do about it? it also appears that there might be something eating the leaves as well. my garden is organic. thank you!

Not a 100% sure but if the spots look powdery like chalk dust, you may have a touch of 'powdery mildew' on your plants, you can spray with carbendazim to get rid of it but repeat applications may be necessary.
Tip- keep plants well watered at the roots in dry weather.
