What a great idea. You deflate and roll up your garden before you go on holiday, so no jungle of weeds to clear and lawn to mow when you return.
You can. of course, buy astro artificial turf which doesn't need mowing. Come to think of it, this would look a darned sight better than our poor dead brown lawn, courtesy of Thames Water hosepipe ban !
