I recently moved into a rented house and want to stick pictures/postcards to the walls of my room. However I know Blu-Tak and even White-Tak can leave messy marks behind and take off the paint...does anyone know of an alternative I can use that will come off easily when I move out, without leaving any marks?

I had the same problem about 10 years ago. I found a product called green-tack. It was non-oil based, so wouldn't leave marks on the wall when removed. However, I've not seen it in the ships since (I got it from a specialist art shop - and I don't have any now!)

Just as a hint for anyone who might be looking for something similar in future, I found something called Gripping Stuff through a search on the internet. It's supposed to be an alternative to pins and blu-tak that doesn't leave any marks on walls. I'll let you know if it works when my order arrives...hope you can stand the tension until then!!
