Is there any way to kill off weeds in my lawn when I have rabbits who also eat the grass (bar digging out the weeds)? A lot of weed killers claim to be 'animal safe' but does this cover actually animals eating the grass?

Hi Critchlow,

I'm sure it does cover them because cats eat grass sometimes to settle their stomachs. I'm sure the manufacturers' wouldn't dare say otherwise.

Is it not possible, if you are doubtful, to section off where your rabbits are, to the areas you treat until the weeds have died? Most weedkillers are systemic, so once they have ingested the liquid through their leaves, it is usually pretty quick that it kills them off.
