Does anybody know the best way to get clothes back to their original white colour after an outing in the washing machine left them a grubby shade of grey? It seems that white dyes are incredibly hard to get hold of.

I use a product called Glo White, by ACDO.

It comes in a small box of sachets - one sachet with all your dingy whites should bring them back to the original white.

Safe on delicates too.

Available from any good supermarket or household store.
Sorry - I meant to say you put the sachet in the washing machine, along with your usual washing powder/liquid.
I've left whites in a bucket of diluted bleach overnight and then put them through washer again, perfectly fine unless there's a coloured pattern on them obviously.
you can buy dylon dye remover that is supposed to remove all colour to prepare it for dying another colour - woolworths sell it
