Local paper sales(and wants) adverts. I would be very surprised if you don't find one there. It is also possible to get a managers special offer i.e. usually slightly damaged from places like Comet etc.

Look in your Yellow Pages under Domestic Appliances Suppliers.. There are often shows and companies that specialise in reconditioning domestic equipment such as fridges, cookers, etc. and as there isn't much to go wrong in a fridge/freezer you might be able to pick one up quite cheaply.
