No blossom on my plum tree

I have a deniston superb plum tree that I planted 3 years ago. The first year I had very little blossom and no plums. Last year I had no blossom. This year there is no blossom. I have not pruned the tree yet as I did not think it needed to be pruned. The tree at the moment is about 7 feet tall.
