For the last few years I've grown daffodils inside in pots for some early colour, but given the small space available in a pot I never seem to be able to plant enough bulbs to get enough blooms. Any suggestions?

It may seem like breaking all the rules but to get more blooms put two layers of bulbs per pot, as deep as possible, one on top of the other. Amazing as it sounds they will shoot at the same height and you'll get double the number of flowers.
