Holes in 3 piece suite is it being eaten?

Tiny holes are appearing in the dralon fabric covering my 3 piece, it's a quality product, bought from the manufacturer. Does anyone know if there are any nasty wee beasties that live in pet free homes that eat Dralon?

Does anyone smoke. I know when my daughter had some friends round while we were on holiday, some ash fell on the sofa and we had little tiny holes appear.

No, it's a smoke free home and it's happening to the settee and one of the chairs. Thanks anyway.

Dralon can be cotton or man made. If the latter then no beasties are likely to blame. One possibility is if you wear jeans (with the rivets) then it likely that the tiny holes are being caused by tiny snags.
