Is everyone too embarassed to answer?

I heard it mentioned somewhere that avocado suites are supposed to be fashionable again or making a comeback or something.

Hey! I'm a trend-setter ......!!

Neutral tones with the classic white. However, with black being the most upto date colour splash to have in your home, black bathroom accesories have been around for a few months but ignore it, the trend is almost over.

Think mink and fawn colours and you'll have a contemporary bathroom

take a lokk here for info

Why do you have to have "what's in fashion".....can't you just go for what you like.
I've never liked this "decorate the house to please the neighbours" type thing....if they have a problem with what colour my bathroom.....or any other room is, they won't be asked back.

FWIW, i have a corner bath and all the bath, toilet and sink are white. The loo seat, cabinet and bath panel are mahogony, the tiles are mid green and the walls are magnolia (cream if you're posh !!!). All accessories such as soap dish, towel rail, plugs and taps etc are gold (plastic gold not solid !!!!). The carpet is green too.

easy andy, maybe doing it up to sell
Don't forget that the darker the colour, the more the water splash stains show. Makes the sanitaryware look dirty even when it isn't.
Why don't you go around some Show Homes in your area and get some ideas -- just pretend you are moving..
Well, if you look in most new houses the bathroom suites always seem to be white. Like brachiopod I'm waiting for avocado to come back into fashion since after 20+ years ours is still in too frustratingly good a condition to rip out and replace. But if you live in a hard water area (as we do) limescale staining can be a real problem unless you jump on it pretty quickly, in which case lighter, neutral colours are probably more practical.

Andy if you re-read the question, i said "not what do you have in yours". Also I didnt say I wanted to create a fashionable bathroom, just wondered what is in fashion at the minute

I find that white is good, as you can change things around quite cheaply by changing towel colours and accessories.
