i have a massive acer it is absolutely huge in the ground i could turn it into about ten large nicely sized acers

How would i do this can i cut a large branch off and put it in soil


almost like propagation but a massive piece

seems they can grow from cuttings

I would go for propagation from seed, if you have some.
