Attended the funeral today, along with several work collegues, of a co-worker.
It was standing room only at the crem.
I was in touch with her (via text etc) up until shortly before she died.
Still a shock to receive the news that she had passed away as she was responding positvely to her care.
(She was been treated for bladder cancer but actually died from a stroke)
I was quiet close to her.
As you say Nails "Life is so brittle". That is why it is precious, and we must enjoy it with resigned acceptance that it is not the for ever dimension. Try not to let the feelings of helplessness and sadness drag you down for too long ma mate and take pride and pleasure in what you have whilst you can.
On a Thursday afternoon,
It would just be me and her, and we would put the kettle on and put the world to rights...
(everybody else had gone home by then)
Miss my Thursdays now!
