does any one have any good tips on how 2 clean metal colanders? i cant get the bloomin thing food remains free! its a nightmare! thanks x

I always leave them to soak in water right after using them and for some time before cleaning and they come up a treat, if you are letting the food dry on them it becomes like grade II mortar and can then be a ''bit'' difficult to get off.

Use a dishwasher, I have one called Irene.

Plug up sink, pour in boiling water (kettle water will suffice), a drop of Fairy and leave to soak over night. Works a dream
