What might have been, yes.

The closest that the four came to reunite as a musical unit was a proposed benefit for the Vietnamese boat people in the late 70s. George had essentially begun the whole "benefit" thing with the concert for Bangladesh, and the others felt that they could do something similar but much more lucrative. Alas, the term "music business" contains two words, and it was the second of those which prevented it from happening.
