Shark seems ok..not cheap though
Dyson the highest spec you budget will allow
I would go with a Dyson as well not cheap, but a better machine IMO and customer service is excellent and long guarantee.

The Bosch Athlete one I have barely does the time I want it to. The red full light comes on too much. I try and wash the filters every week or so but it is so annoying.
We have a Dyson. No problems at all.... but we still have to wash the filter occasionally.
I don't think you will escape filter washing. I have got a Dyson V10 and two large dogs who tread in mud and junk from the garden. I can do the entire downstairs and stairs, landing and three bedrooms on one charge and I need to empty the bin at the end. Filter gets washed around once a month. Its in the nature of cordless machines to have smaller bins and need emptying more often.
I've got a Dyson DC 24 I just clean the filter on first day of each month, they are handy having cleanable filter.
Cordless Henry. Suction not as strong as the normal Henry but still good.
I have a GTech. It's lightweight, very efficient and easy to use. About an hour on a full charge. I also have the hand held, ideal for furniture, the car and everything else.

Thank you all.
I have got a problem with Gtech in that they no longer make the chargers for my garden tools. They are about 6 years old and in excellent condition but I can’t get replacement chargers for them so be warned
