when i moved in to my house we had a lovely mock orange in my back garden which was covered in really nice white flowers. I didn't prune it in the late summer/autumn so left it. It got to january and the mother in law decided it needed a trim and cut it right back to ground level. It grew back that year but over the last 3 years this year is the first time it has had a single flower.

Could anyone give me some advice on how to get it to flower again?

Thanks

They usually recommend pruning back a third of the growth immediately after it has flowered, which would be June to July, so at the end of this month should be fine.
Thinning out and removing dead wood may also help if necessary.
