I said weeks ago that nxt door had put their trampoline right nxt to our fence. Today they have visitors over . For 2 hours there has been several kids on it screaming, and I mean screaming, the entire time, whilst bobbing their heads up and down with every bounce. PLUS they have found a football and are bouncing that at the same time. It has come over fence three times so far, with a call of oi missus. I've given it back every time and I know I sound a right misery guts but they are doing my head in. They aren't tiny kids either. Hubby is saying don't you dare go and say anything but it's getting silly now. Your thoughts? Don't mind if you all call me a miserable cow lol xx

Lol not till Tuesday. Away for business
How big are your gardens?
Next time the ball comes over , I'd say that this was my last return for today as I was trying to have some peace.

No shouting just say it straight and mean it.

Tuesday it is then Smow.
Couldn't put up with that. They must be very thick skinned to think it's ok for their kids to do this.
Give them 2/6d and send them to the ABC minors...
Why can't snow complain, why should it be hubby ?
I wondered that too, I have never had trouble speaking to neighbours, noisy or otherwise.

Don't recall saying she couldn't complain, and I can't really be ***** to argue!
Totally agree, arguing doesn't solve a thing - the trick is to drop one's voice so the other has to quieten down to listen.

Good luck Smow.
You are perfectly entitled to say something, it is not acceptable behaviour. It would drive me mad as well.
I have a bit of a similar problem from time to time - one of our neighbours looks after kids, so sometimes their garden is full of screaming kids.
My solution - fight fire with fire .... I just drown at their noise by moving one of my speakers outside and treating the world to some of my "relaxing" rock tunes. Take your pick from W.A.S.P., Skid Row or Heaven's Basement .... I'll gladly play any at full blast .... drowns out the sounds of the kids a treat :)
