We have just got laminate flooring installed and also bought a rug to cover a small area in the room centre .To prevent tripping on / or rug sliding we purchased a product called Ruggies.they dont appear to perform as indicated even if we use double sided tape in conjunction with the product.a perusal of reviews on the net appears to indicate their efficiency. Has any one else had similiar problems with the product.

No but we used this from John Lewis on two rugs, one on carpet and one on laminate and the rugs haven't moved at all since (about 6 months). It's easy to fit - we bought a large one and cut it in two for the two rugs.

Tanxbhg481 we bought the pack of four corner ruggies and found them inadequate .were the type you used long corner to corner on each side of rug/carpet ?
No, it's a piece of felt-like material, slightly tacky, about 1/8" thick that you cut to the size of the rug. Same stuff for laminate and carpet but you lay it the opposite side down. Clear instructions and easy to do AND IT WORKS.

Many tanx just been browsing and have found comments /reviews along your line.and will pursue that recommendation tanx again.
I echo bhg481's comments about the John Lewis stuff. Not cheap but it does the job perfectly.
