I want to be buried when I die but I have a strong fear of waking up in my coffin. Can anyone give me any infomation that they give you an injection to double check!

Er... Harold Shipman might have done, but any normal doctor would be too mindfull of the fact that if they administered an injection to make sure someone was dead, this would be murder! Believe me, there's not a chance you could be buried alive!
it has happened before.......As far as i am aware there is no 'double checking' method practiced in hospitals etc. However, you could get a trustworthy relative or friend to 'pinch' you when you are in the coffin at the funeral to double check for you! : )
A worry that concerned a lot of victoricans in the UK. Several devices were invented to allow the burried person to signal their aliveness, I don't not if any were ever actually put to use. On a more modern tone, perhapse you could request being burried with a mobile phone (you would probably need and ariel extention to the surface). Hamish
They don't inject you, but the routine they go through after death makes pretty sure you are dead (draining your blood etc). I have exactly the same fear but I've decided to be cremated. I don't like the tought of worms eating me either...
