Worcester Greenstar 30Cdi Boiler Leak

What is name of leaking component, situated just above and to the right of the pump? It has a copper water pipe connected to the front, and electrical connection on top. Cannot identify it from schematic on the Worcester web site. Leak is from pipe connection, and pipe is fixed into the component with a wire clip.
Any info would be useful, name of component, cost of new one, and rough cost of an engineer to fix it.

Unless one is intimate with this boiler, Theland, it's just guesswork from a distance. It may be the pressure relief valve.

There are boiler specialists on this site, but I guess they would struggle without a close look. I'd suggest you ring and speak to the Worcester Technical team.

They are certainly one of the better manufacturers. I'm sure they'll be able to pinpoint it.

If the part in question is cylindrical, with the pipe attached to the front, which passes over and to the left of the pump – then it is the flow turbine.

However with any leak, rather that the part, it could be a union where the water is escaping. Best to investigate as much as possible before purchasing a replacement part, for a non-faulty item.

With the front cover off, the component is just above and to the RIGHT of the pump, and yes, the rest of your description is accurate. The pipe is fitted into a brass part that is itself held in with an inverted U shape, or goal post clip.
I have fitted a plastic bottle under it with a piece of garden hose to collect the drips and guide them into a container on the floor. Thinking of attaching the garden hose to the outflow through the wall to the grid outside. If that works it can drip to its hearts content. All this due to lack of funds for a component or an engineer. I bet it's a leaking O ring costing pennies.

In a similar situation, I have successfully used a piece of string (or similar) to act as a wick, to collect/guide the leaking fluid into a collection vessel.

You might be lucky if the leak is small, such that come winter (with the boiler operating continuously) the leak will stop and you will be able to effect a fix with a suitable sealant.
