Is there something I can spray on a tarmac path to stop moss growing?

I suspect the usual weedkillers. May find Jeyes might help. In my garden and on both flat and sloped rooves, I have moss growing. It seems an unstoppable force.
Not sure if it would work, but how about using some lawn moss killer, works well on lawns, so I'd have thought it would work on tarmac.
Probably just kill it though rather than stop it.

Thank you both, I had wondered about Jeyes, will try lawn moss killer first.
Sodium carbonate, i.e. washing soda, spread as crystals then water in. http://hubpages.hubpages.com/question/20962/how-to-kill-moss
Check out 'Armillatox' outdoor cleaner, it's made for the job.
